Data acquisition for the in vivo experiment in human carotid artery. Noninvasive measurements of blood pressure and internal arterial diameter at the level of the carotid artery were obtained via applanation tonometry (left) and a B-model echographic images (right), respectively. The pressure-diameter relation is then used to study the viscoelastic properties of the vessel.
