Cx36 phosphorylation and tracer coupling of photoreceptors are positively correlated. Based upon data shown in Figures 1 and 3, the relationship between phospho-S293/mCx36 ratio and diffusion coefficient during cut loading under comparable conditions was analyzed. The linear regression with R2 = 0.81 suggested a fairly strong, positive correlation between phosphorylation level of Cx36 and photoreceptor coupling. Data are means ± SEM.
