(A) Third instar larvae were raised in corn meal food then starved for 24 hours in PBS. Anti-DILP2 fluorescence was quantified as described previously (Geminard et al., 2009). P values were calculated from a Student t-test from n=10 larvae for each time point and genotype and four independent experiments. (B) dMyc systemic growth is abolished in dilp2, 3,5 mutant background. Growth was measured in the wing of adult females flies of the indicated genotype and expressed in mm2. P-values were calculated from Student t-test from n=15 adults for each genotype, from two independent experiments. (C) Quantification of trehalose (mM) in the hemolymph of cg- control and cg-dMyc larvae in feeding and after starvation. ***P<0.001 value was calculated from three independent experiments. Error bars represent the standard deviations.
