Significance between groups was determined using an exact Wilcoxon rank sum test, as described in Materials and Methods (p values indicated). Bars indicate the mean H score in each group, and the dotted line indicates the threshold for positive versus negative stain based on dichotomized data. Twenty five biomarker associations were tested in total. The dot plots displayed had a False Discovery Rate of <5% (see Experimental Section). The displayed p-values are unadjusted for the number of tests performed.
