The problem setup. Molecules of species A (blue dots) diffuse in the cylindrical volume. They react with the line and transform into the one-dimensional species Acyl (red dots). The line (green) extends throughout the domain through the center of the cylinder. The outer boundary is approximated by piecewise linear planes and is reflective.
