Numbers represent the counts of S.plumipes sequences that match known toxins from species, including Chilobrachys jingzhao (Chinese earth tiger tarantula), Coremiocnemis valida (Singapore brown tarantula), Haplopelma huwenum (Chinese bird spider), Grammostola rosea (Chilean rose tarantula), and Lycosa singoriensis (wolf spider). With the exception of L.singoriensis, all of these spiders are primitive mygalomorphs that are closely related to S. plumipes.
