Columns indicate the source channels x_i and the rows the target channels x_j, the (j, i)-subplot quantifies the influence from x_i to x_j. Only points to the right of the dashed threshold line are considered due to numerical reasons (reasonable points). If all reasonable points are located under the dotted line we say x_i influences x_j, compare the interpretation in Fig. 2. This analysis yields the influence structure illustrated in Fig. 3(b).
