Southern blot analysis of genomic DNA isolated from clones used in this study. Probes specific for bbh17 (A) or aacC1 (B) were used to determine the presence of lp28-3 or pBSV28-3G, respectively. Genomic DNA in lanes labeled “A3+pBSV28-3G” are from individual transformant clones, including C12. Lanes containing genomic DNA from wild-type A3 and lp28-3-deficient strain C33 are also indicated.
