Serum levels of CXCL9/monokine induced by interferon (IFN)-gamma (MIG) CXCL10/IFN-gamma-induced protein-10 (IP-10) are increased preferentially in primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) patients, while this increase is regulated by ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) administration. CXCR3-binding chemokines were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in serum of PBC patients (n = 20) and normal controls (NCs, n = 20).
