The effect of PfluDING and site-directed mutant proteins on NFκB activity. A) HEK 293T cells were transfected with pBIIXLuc (300~ng), renilla luciferase (80~ng) and PfluDING or mutant expression constructs (420~ng). The cell lysates were assayed for luciferase activities 48 hours post-transfection. The phosphate-binding mutants did not have significantly different effects on NFκB activity compared to the unmodified PfluDING. Each point was done in triplicate and this graph is representative of two separate experiments. The error bars represent standard error. RLU: relative light units.
