Western blot analysis using protein lysates from THP-1 cells (A) and L6 cells (B) after stimulation with 25 ng/ml of TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6, 30 μM of H₂O₂, 1 μg/ml of tunicamycin and from 50 to 500 μM of palimate for overnight. DMSO at 1% and 0.5% BSA were used as controls for vehicles. Actin and GAPDH were used as internal controls to monitor for loading efficiency. (C) Effect of plamitate on the expression of HSP-60 and HSP-90 along with DNAJB3. The blots shown are representatives of at least three independent experiments with consistent results.
