Case 1 of the experimental group

A 69-year-old male had a diabetic foot ulcer on the tibial side of the right great toe. The patient stayed in the hospital for six weeks, and had healed completely at eight weeks postoperation. The elasticity ratio measured was 0.81. (A) After debridement, the periosteum was exposed. (B) Matriderm was applied to the periosteum. (C) A split-thickness skin graft was performed.
