Newborn oligodendrocytes in the peri-injured cortex were detected by CNP (green) and BrdU (red) antibody. CNP⁺/BrdU⁺ newborn oligodendrocytes were not found in the peri-injured cortex at 1, 3, 7, 14 and 28 dpi.
