Difference between the median ancestral body mass estimated using the RadConsAA-PolVol and the median of the body mass of extant bird species (all in base 10 logarithm). The “water-birds clade” includes the orders Ciconiiformes, Gaviiformes, Pelecaniformes, Sphenisciformes, and Procellariiformes.
