(a) SK-N-Be(2)C and SK-N-SH WT, WT-v, DoxR, and DoxR-v cell lines were cultured in tumorsphere culture media. SK-N-Be(2)C-DoxR cells formed tumorspheres of varying sizes after 4–5 days in culture. SK-N-Be(2)C WT, WT-v, and DoxR-v cells did not form tumorspheres, adhering to the plate. SK-N-SH-DoxR-v cells formed loose tumorspheres. SK-N-SH-WT, WT-v, and DoxR cell lines failed to form tumorspheres instead forming loose grape-like clusters suspended in culture media. Experiments were repeated at least three times.
