Electrograph of a magnified proximal convoluted tubule (PCT) cell of control mouse showing apical microvilli (mv) and dense bodies. The nucleus (N) is large, vesicular with well defined nucleolus. Mitochondria (M) were located between basal infolding. The basement membrane is regular and of normal thickness (thin arrow).
