Lung metastatic burden decreases sharply with both macrophage depletion and TNF-$\alpha$ knockout. E0771 tumors grown in wild-type/PBSL mice generated significantly higher numbers of lung metastases, compared to E0771 tumors in TAM depleted and TNF-$\alpha$ knockout mice ($p<0.05$). Metastatic output was assessed across 10 sections of lung per group.
