Sets of cultures differed by the timing and duration of T3 treatment: T3−, chronically hormone-deprived; T3+, hormone-treated; T3−/+, cultures treated with T3 only during the third week in vitro; and T3+/−, cultures treated with T3 during the first two weeks. P#, P-values of T3-treated cultures compared with T3−. The statistical test used is indicated under the P columns. All P-values are results of Mann–Whitney Rank Sum Test (MW-RST), except the italic-underlined P-values, which are results of Kruskal–Wallis One-Way ANOVA on ranks (ANOVA).
