A, Liposomes displaying HEL + 3’-BPANeuGc inhibit phosphorylation or degradation of representative signaling components of B cell receptor signaling compared to liposomes displaying HEL alone. Purified splenic IgMHEL B cells were stimulated with the indicated liposomes for 3 min at 37 °C, lysed, and the cell lysates were analyzed by Western blotting. Results shown are representative of two independent experiments. B, Ca2+-flux in WT splenic B cells is inhibited after stimulation with liposomes displaying anti-IgM + 3’-BPANeuGc compared to liposomes displaying anti-IgM alone, while no inhibition is observed in SHP-1 deficient B-cells.
