The potential inhibitory effect of curcumin on epithelial-mesenchymal transition. (a) The percentage of GFP positive cells was increased from 34% to 91.3% after fluorescence-activated cell sorting. (b) Curcumin increases GFP intensity of the selected HCT-116 stable cells. 1 × 104 cells were seeded in 96-well plates overnight. After incubation with different doses of curcumin for 24 h, the cells were fixed and stained with DAPI. The images of 96-well plates were acquired, and the fluorescence intensity of each cell was analyzed by HCS. (c) Curcumin increases E-cadherin promoter activity in dose-dependent manner.
