The morphology of tumors isolated from multiparous (A) and nulliparous (B) Casp2+/+/MMTV (n=10 multiparous, n=11 nulliparous), Casp2+/−/MMTV (n=11 multiparous, n=11 nulliparous) and Casp2−/−/MMTV (n=20 multiparous, n=8 nulliparous) animals were examined by H&E staining and classified into one of six morphological categories (see text). The frequency of each morphological type is noted. Images of selected morphologies are shown in Figure 2. P-values for all groups were <0.001 as determined by χ2 test.
