(A) Ang significantly increased cardiac mitochondrial protein carbonyl content, and was significantly ameliorated by SS-31, but not by NAC. (B) qPCR revealed significant upregulation of genes in mitochondrial biogenesis, all of which were attenuated by SS-31.
