The response is baseline subtracted and normalized to the OD_{450 nm}; (c, d): OD_450nm used for normalization of the fluorescence data. The deduced exponential growth rates are used when modeling the data. The fast growth (a, c) was obtained using glucose as carbon source and Casamino acids as amino acid source. The slow growth (b, d) was obtained with glycerol as carbon source and l-Leucine as sole amino acid source.
