Effect of small interfering (si)RNA specific to HDAC1, 2, 3, or 8 on RPTC proliferation. RPTCs were transfected with scrambled siRNA or specific siRNA to HDAC1, 2, 3, or 8, respectively, and incubated for 48 h in the DMEM with 5% FBS. Cells were harvested and cell lysates were subjected to immunoblot analysis with antibodies to HDAC1, 2, 3, or 8 and acetyl-H3 or α-tubulin.
