Stability of UgdK-12. Wild-type and Y71F mutant UgdK-12 proteins were incubated at 37 °C in the presence/absence of glycerol (gro, 10% v/v final concentration) for the times indicated. Samples were subjected to centrifugation at maximum speed (16,100 × g) for 5 min in a microcentrifuge. The resulting supernatants were separated by SDS-PAGE and stained with Simply Blue (Invitrogen).
