Minor allele frequencies of A and B and pair-wise correlation between the two SNPs are obtained from the 1000 Genomes European reference panel to match the ancestry background of the COGEND European-American (EA) dataset. Odds ratio estimates and 95% C.I. of OR_A, OR_B, OR_A|B, and OR_B|A and covariance between OR_A|B and OR_B|A are calculated from the COGEND EA sample (1062 cases, 991 controls).
