Galectin-7 and TP53 mRNA and protein levels in MCF-7 (A and B) and MDA-MB-231 (C and D) cells following transfection with an expression vector encoding wild type p53. Protein levels were measured by ELISA, as described the materiel and methods section. Control cells were generated using an empty pCDNA3.1 vector. GAPDH was used as loading control.
