P0 and P3 were harvested following 8 days of culture. Ki67 was used as a marker for cell proliferation. In a process known as cycle analysis, propidium Iodide FACS analysis was used to measure the DNA content of cells and distinguish between cells in G1, S, and G2/M. The results showed that P0 and P3 cells were positive for Ki67 and there were a large number of cells in S and G2/M, confirming the existence of proliferation phenomena in P0 and P3.
