TLR2 stimulation by PGN protected against apoptosis of splenocytes following chronic stress. Age-matched TLR2 KO mice and wild type (C57BL/6) mice were administered with or without PGN (50µg/ 25g body weight, i.p.) 1 h before the mice were subjected to restraint stress (n = 5 per group).
