Oligomerization at the surface of the erythrocytes. 0.25 nmol of protein was incubated with BRBC suspension. After a 10-min incubation and the addition of DSS, BRBC with bound cross-linked toxin were pelleted. Electrophoresis buffer was added to the pelleted erythrocytes, and proteins were resolved by SDS-PAGE and blotted with rabbit anti-EqtII serum.
