Effect of nhe3b knockdown on Na+ content in zebrafish embryos at 3 day post-fertilization. Specific morpholinos (following [92]) were microinjected into 1∼4 cell-stage embryos incubated in normal freshwater (about 500 μM NaCl and 20 μM Ca2+). Whole-body Na+ content was measured by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Data are expressed as the mean ± SD (n = 6).
