Cultures were exposed to 100 μm DTDP for 10 min in the presence of B27 (1×), PBN (500 μm), niacinamide (3 mm), or benzamide (3 mm). Neuronal viability (mean ± SEM) expressed as a percentage of control sister cultures that were not exposed to DTDP. Numbers inparentheses represent the total number of independent observations per group, each of which was performed in at least duplicate. Asterisk denotes a significant difference at a given concentration between DTDP treatment alone and DTDP treatment with each neuroprotective agent (p < 0.05; pairedt test). nd, Not determined.
