Aurora B is essential for dissociation of Sororin from chromatin and cohesin. (A) DMSO (Log)- or nocodazole (Noc)-treated HeLa cells were additionally treated with DMSO (−), BI 4834 (BI), Hesperadin (Hesp), or RO3306 (RO) in the presence of MG132. Whole-cell extracts (WCE) and chromatin-bound fractions were analyzed by immunoblotting. (B) Silver-stained gel of a Sororin-LAP tandem affinity purification.
