IL-1β and TNF-α both mediate neuronal damage in vitro. Human neurons were treated with IL-1β (10 ng/ml) or TNF-α (50 ng/ml) for 2 days. A-I) Neuronal antigen was immunostained with antibody to MAP-2 (A, D, and G). DAPI was used to mark cell nuclei (B, E, and H).
