Steps in recording early infection outbreaks in a simulation run.

Let the simulation run until the system is at endemic equilibrium. At time t1 at endemic equilibrium, start recording new acute infection outbreaks, treating all infected individuals in the early stage as potential initiators of an outbreak. Record new acute infection outbreaks for the next 30 years. Stop simulation when all the acute infection outbreaks that were recorded during that 30-year period have ended. Ignore outbreaks that begin more than 30 years after t1.
