Statistical significance of taxon associations was assessed by two methods. ρ (Spearman's correlation coefficient) and q (false discovery rate) were calculated by the first method and ρ' (Spearman's correlation coefficient) and q' (false discovery rate) were calculated by a more stringent second method.
