Complete response by phase. The bar graph shows the percentages of patients achieving a complete response (CR) in the overall, acute, and delayed phases. CR was defined as no vomiting and no use of rescue medication. Black and gray bars represent the aprepitant and placebo regimens, respectively. The overall, acute, and delayed phases were 0–120 h, 0–24 h, and 25–120 h, respectively, after initiation of chemotherapy.
