Caveolin-1, IAP, and FAT/CD36 are interactive in intestinal cytosol as shown by co-immuno-precipitation. Intestinal cytosol was incubated for 4h at 4 °C with rabbit anti-caveolin-1 or FAT/CD36 antibodies or goat anti-IAP antibodies bound to agarose beads. The beads were washed to remove unbound proteins (Methods), boiled in Laemmli’s buffer, and the proteins separated by SDS-PAGE. The proteins were transblotted and immunoblots performed using the indicated antibodies. IgG bound to beads was used as a control (IgG).
