Opsonization of P. gingivalis with P. gingivalis-specific IgG prior to oral challenge inhibits P. gingivalis-elicited oral bone loss. Groups of BALB/C mice were either unchallenged (None), were orally challenged with P. gingivalis (A7436), or were gavaged with P. gingivalis opsonized with control IRR-IgG or P. gingivalis-specific IgG.
