Viremia in STAT1 and A129 mice. Data are shown following subcutaneous or footpad infection of 6–8 week-old mice with 103 or 104 plaque-forming units (pfu) of O'nyong-nyong virus (ONNV). For STAT1 KO mice infected subcutaneously (s.c.) with SG650 and MP30, N = 7; A129 mice infected s.c. with SG650 103 pfu, N = 5; A129 mice infected s.c with SG650 104 pfu, N = 4; A129 mice infected s.c. with 103 pfu of MP30, N = 5; A129 mice infected via footpad (f.p.) with 103 pfu of SG650; N = 5. The limit of detection of the plaque assay was 100 pfu/mL. Negative animals were assigned a value of one-half the limit of detection. Error bars represent one standard deviation.
