Time course of miconazole addition. CaErg1200 was grown in the absence or presence of miconazole (10 μg ml⁻¹). Cultures were started with 4 × 10⁶ cells ml⁻¹. Miconazole was added to the separate cultures at 0, 8, and 24 h of growth; and all cultures were grown for 48 h, when the luciferase assays were performed.
