Example of two covariation clusters that were detected. They correspond to two genomic regions that contain exons of the tkv gene as well as CG9203. Notice that a transcript CG14033 (referred to in the image as CG14033) is overlapping with tkv and has reverse-strand directionality compared with the tkv transcript. This is suggestive of a scenario in which transcripts of tkv and CR14033 hybridize, thus forming extended helical secondary structures that are processed to endo-siRNAs, which in turn down-regulate the expression of CG9203 (Czech et al. 2008; Okamura et al. 2008).
