Growth (A), substrate consumption and product formation (B) of the G. oxydans Δupp(pBBRp384), Δupp(pBBRp384-cyoBACD), Δupp ΔcyoBACD(pBBRp384), and Δupp ΔcyoBACD(pBBRp384-cyoBACD) strains. The strains were cultivated in 100-ml baffled shake flasks with mannitol medium at 30°C and 140 rpm. Mean values and standard deviations of three independent cultures are shown.
