The clinical course of active EAE is attenuated in Icam1^tm1Jcgr mice, but exacerbated in Icam1^tm1Bay mice compared to wild type mice. Active EAE was induced with MOG_35-55 peptide and clinical signs scored for 30 days as described in Materials and Methods.
