A direct association was found between age and the Weill Cornell LINCL Ophthalmic Severity Scale (Kendall’s tau =3.79, p<0.0002), with older patients having more severe ophthalmic manifestations (Kruskal-Wallis Test: X² = 8.2, p<0.005).
