Of the 22 samples, 11 serum samples were obtained at the moment of egg detection, one sample before egg detection, and 10 samples after treatment. Of the 11 patients with a confirmed S. haematobium infection, 7 patients demonstrated eggs in urine (see Table 2 ) and 4 patients had eggs in feces (part of the group described in Table 3 ).
