(a) Speckle noise has been added but no signal averaging has been performed. Although the applied and extracted displacement vectors are closely aligned, they do not match exactly. (b) Speckle noise has been added together with 30× signal averaging. An excellent match is found between applied and extracted displacement vectors (note the superimposed red and blue vectors).
