HeLa cells were incubated for 24, 48 72 hours on the nanostructured grids and the percentage of mitochondrial activity was calculated according to the following formula: (OD of nanostructured grid with cells−OD of medium alone)/(OD of nanostructured grid only−OD medium alone)×100; where OD is optical density.
