Sp1 knockdown reduces αENaC mRNA expression in mIMCD3 cells. The cells were transfected with control siRNA or Sp1-specific siRNA. After 24 h, the cells were treated with vehicle or aldosterone for 24 h, and then total RNA was harvested, and αENaC and GAPDH mRNA levels were measured by qRT-PCR.
