Fig. 2. Detection of differentially expressed genes in cultured DRG cells treated with gabapentin. Total RNA was extracted from DRG cells treated with gabapentin and subjected to ACP-based DDRT-PCR. Twenty arbitrary ACP primers (ACP1 to ACP20) were used to isolate the differentially expressed genes. Differential expression patterns were observed when the arbitrary ACP primer sets (indicated on the top) were used. The differential expression patterns were evaluated based on the band intensities. The arrows on the left-hand side indicate differential expressed bands between untreated DRG cells (U) and gabapentin-treated DRG cells (G). Bands were excised from the gel for sequencing.
